i agree hardware monitor is great i use it constantly and keeping track of your stats all in one spot is great too, bad company 2 didn't show kills and deaths in game but it would on the g15


no problem, you can even go in and request an app to be made at that site, it's not a bad idea to sign up on the forums since that's where most of the new ones are

Here is how I was using my GTX 470 before. A 120mm Cooler Master Excalibur fan strapped on to it with twist ties. 85CFM, 2100RPM, 30DBA and it was hitting load temps of about 75-85 while overclocked. Very good stuff and its half as loud because I can just have the GPU fan at half speed. Not worried about temps because all the hot air goes to my large side panel and every case fan is set to exhaust hot air and does so very well.

Nice mods I really like the red and black shceme.Always nice to look at these kind of mods it turns in some artwork .If you have a side panel fan maybe try turning it in an intake fan blowing directly on the heatpipes and add a top exhaust in the case. Turn your powersuplly supply around so that it takes hot air out instead of in.My temps are @ 75% fan speed 800/1600/2100 are 37 idle and load is 70-75 but thats only like bfbc2 or heaven benchmark type thing.other games like dirt 2,Gow etc only go up to 55-60.( Summer time)

It gets to a point were no matter how many fans you add temps wont change that much , but a well calculated intake vs outake pays.

I beleive you have an after market NB HEATSINK if thats the case do you mind giving your thoughts on it.

Hey almost fergot EVGA is giving out free High flow brackets and backplates reduced my temps 5 degrees in my case some claim 7.The backplate comes with a thermal pad and the high flow bracket allows better air flow out the back of the card.Cost me like 3 $ shipping and takes about 2 weeks if your in Canada.

Got to love EVGA I got three free games Mafia 2,Metro 2033 and just cause 2 along side a lifetime warranty.

Because I always buy mid range motherboards, they always come with a small cube for a northbridge and thats not sufficient for me. I am not going to pay $200 for a motherboard with a nicer one when I can just drop in a new $25 northbridge, and $10 for a large set of rectange/square heatsinks from Scythe and they do the same job or better but may not look as good. Its also a passive heatsink and I dont have to worry about it getting hot at all. So much better than the original!

You have an X58 motherboard, your NB should be sufficient enough though.

Cool,just wondering if they could be worth looking into for that price @ 3930 mhz it reached 68 after a few hours BFC2 all i did was add a 30mm fan on it droped temps 15 derees.
